Since joining MLHG in 2003 as a benefits administrator, Chris Newhart has assumed other duties such as liaison for United Benefits Advisor (UBA), coordinates Lunch’n Learns, seminars, and health fairs for clients. She handles value-added services including Employee Benefit Center (EBC), HRinsider, Employee Resource Center (ERC), and the Wellness Newsletter.

 She qualified for her insurance producer license in 2004.  Chris has held accountant positions at Camcar Textron and Fasteners Engineers. While at Fastener Engineers, she was asked to assume its Human Resources Administrator position, which she held for almost 2 years.  Chris has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rockford College.
